New York Spring 2013: Everything Else (Part 4)

Obviously, I haven't covered everything there is in New York Fashion Week featuring Spring 2013's designs. Thus the need for this last post. I'm giving my two cents into the remaining designs that have caught my eye but I've yet to mention in the previous parts.

I sorted the above based on designers, and there are so many other styles that have been showcased on the runways that I have not put up, so here's a breakdown for some other styles you may want to note for Spring 2013 Fashion:

Leather
My personal favorite material (with me being grunge most of the time) has been around since 2012, and looks like it's still here to stay for Spring 2013. With leather skirts and jackets strutted down the runway in an entourage of colors, from bright ones like neon green to black, it looks like it's still safe for all of us to keep our leather pieces from the previous seasons and alter them to fit this Spring's styles.

Stripes
Stripes! I was contemplating if it should get it's own part, but apparently decided against it. if there's one thing you HAVE TO NOTE for Spring 2013, it would definitely be the presence of stripes. From the above pictures and the rest I've posted, you'd have noticed that stripes are monopolizing the runway this Spring with stripes of all kinds, colors and combinations are shown off by the various designers. If you haven't gotten anything with stripes for your Spring wardrobe, I'd suggest you get one, especially because this pattern has won its place in the spots of Spring 2013 styles and fashion.

The Jacket
While spring usually holds sleeveless outfits, it seems like jackets are still very much in fashion this Spring. All over New York Fashion Week, you'll find motor jackets and blazers (just to name a few) making their entrances from numerous designers. For those looking to save some cash, maybe you can look into your Autumn/Winter clothes to find some you can don on this Spring. For Blazer lovers like me, it seems like we're in luck with blazers and suits strutting the runway from a multitude of designers.
Another point you'll notice about these jackets would be the size. Most jackets this Spring seem to be of the 'oversize' design. Maybe this can help you in your jacket hunting/buying decisions when putting the coordinates of Spring 2013 in mind.

Although I didn't get the opportunity to be at New York Fashion Week in time for Spring 2013, I must say that I'm loving all the coordinates and designs from all the brands present.
Fashion is something that will always be around. You don't need a completely new wardrobe for each season. You just need the know-how of turning something from another season to fit it into the next season. I'm definitely doing a stock taking of what I have before I embark on my Spring 2013 shopping, but in the meantime, stay fashionable!
