The iPhone Diaries (Korea Trip 2013)

What better way to conclude a trip than to include some iPhone moments not caught on a digital/professional camera?

Warning: Many selfies ahead!

My boarding gate area. Which is coincidentally a floor below my internship company's office.

Finally on a Singapore Airlines flight again <3

Christmas star-shaped donut from Paris Baguette
It had a yummy mango icing if I recall correctly…
My post-flight snack hehe

 At Gimpo Airport~

Probably me at Jeju International Airport just after my flight… LOL

Jeju breakfast sans abalone porridge! Did I mention how much I love eggs?
Well now you know. LOL.

You've seen this. (If you read all my posts)
Seafood dinner in Jeju.

My crazy huge dinner at Daegu
Had to make my brother take the photo for me. I'm simply too short to capture everything :x

Post-skiing. My hair was BAD for the rest of the day. :(

How my brother sleeps on the bus… Typical.

Winking Christmas bear from Paris Baguette! <3

Everything I could say about these photos have probably been said in my previous posts about my Korea Trip, and really, this is just a bank for all the photos that have made it to my iPhone that I decided to separate from the rest of the pictures. Just because.

I know it's been a whole series of posts on Korea for an 8 day trip, and I love you to bits if you read each one of them. I hope you enjoyed reading it cos I definitely enjoyed my trip. My spirit for adventure is still in me, and while I may be chained to the routines and obligations of life (school in particular) that prevents me from leaving the country, do stay on to read about the other facets of my life!

Korea 안녕히계세요~ (Read: An-nyeong-hi-kye-seh-yo, Translated: Goodbye) (Korea Trip 2013)

I know this says goodbye, but it's only my second last post. :x

Porridge for breakfast! I actually loved it!
We had pumpkin, soya bean, mushroom abalone, kimchi and seaweed porridge to choose from <3
Personal favorites: Kimchi and mushroom abalone

Sinchon Ladies Street that sells…. wait for it…
Everything girls would want. From fashion, to makeup etc.

And pardon me for looking terrible. I didn't want to wear contacts cos I had a flight at night…

It finally snowed on the last day of our trip!
I was probably off somewhere doing the happy dance!

I watched Taemin (from Shinee) drink it in Hello Baby, and finally I get to drink my Banana Milk!
Plus the bottle is adorable

On my Singapore Airlines flight back to Singapore…

Not much to say in this post. My pictures shall speak for me. and maybe I'm slightly lazy. LOL.

PS. sorry for the picture sizing… Some of my photos didn't resize themselves. Gr.

#100HappyDays

Finally. A little something to challenge myself.

I have just decided to embark on this challenge to find something I'm happy about over the next 100 days. Since I'm mostly found on Instagram nowadays (my blog excluded), I'll be blogging my 100 Happy Days over my Instagram account, so do follow me there if you're interested!

Regardless, I'll be posting updates on my blog once a week/fortnight depending on how busy I get. (and yes, I do realize being busy is a reason why most people fail)

If you've decided that you want to join this 100 Happy Days challenge with me, do visit their page:

Wish me luck!

크리스마스 (Read: keu-ri-seu-ma-seu, Translated: Christmas) + 롯데월드 (Read: Lotte World) (Korea Trip 2013)

We're back in Seoul! And no, it didn't snow. This is another work of Google.

Chinese food (cooked for Korean tastebuds) for breakfast. One of the meals I didn't really enjoy in the trip. I mean, I'm in Korea to eat Korean food right?

Visit to some Ginseng Monopoly Showroom

 Lunch

The actual photo, sans Google Snow.

What I grabbed from Lotte Young Plaza's SME popup store <3
The queue and craze for EXO was amazingly long! Kinda glad I'm not a fan...

Lotte World! When at an amusement park, it's mandatory to snap a photo with a crown.

Dinner! 짜장면 (Translated: Ja-jang-myeon) = Noodles with black soybean paste
Fried rice was something for my bro (who would always choose rice over noodles)
It was SOOOOO YUMMY I crave for it just looking at it!

Considering we went to 명동 (Translated: Myeong-dong) on Christmas day, the streets were packed and the only logical place to shop was probably in Lotte departmental store. Yes, it's probably a place for tourists, but I'd pick that over getting squished just trying to take a step on the opposite side of Myeongdong.

Lotte World was no exception. The queues were horrendously long, and since we only had 3 short hours to eat and play, my family did the eating and walking around, deciding to forgo the 'play' part. I even shopped at Etude House! (Not that I regretted it. The nail polishes are crazy cheap in Korea!)

Since the main highlight of the trip was supposedly skiing, we only got to visit Lotte World, and not Everland (another theme park in Korea). For those of you who have no idea, Lotte World is a theme park that comprises of both indoor and outdoor rides AND a skating rink. Dramas like 'Stairway to Heaven' have been filmed in Lotte World, so yes, it is also known for appearing in dramas.

If I posted this in December, I may have said Merry Christmas to end my post, but I think that's not really appropriate now.
